Honestly, I think they've given up on Internet and TV service, they just want to push their mobile plans. Moments later I get a Spectrum text there is another service outage. Gave up even trying to get through to her. I told her 192.168.100.1, she responded "I don't know what that is, but you need to troubleshoot your router with the manufacturer before we can do anything else". She asked what website I thought I was seeing my modem. She insisted it was my router, also told me "there is no way I can be logging into my modem, it's just a box that connects my router to Spectrum, I must be logging into my router". Still seeing dropouts this morning, called in, had the worst rep ever. Then a couple days ago, started with dropout again, last night they texted me there was an outage, aligning with my internet being out for about 40 minutes. Had constant dropouts for past few months, four techs have been here, new coax, new drop line, finally the last tech saw issues on node, called someone to "check scope", that person saw issues on node aligning with my outages, tech then talked to supervisor, assured they'd dispatch maintenance to address node issue. but I just want to hear something about this particular problem. if it's something that can't be fixed, I want to hear them saying "I'm sorry but this will continue to happen". I just want to alert someone in higher position and have him/her look at this issue bc clearly, there is something wrong. I just want to pass the message to whoever is in charge of maintenance in this area but they won't simply let me. All I get is "oh sorry to hear that" "here's a few bucks credit". I tried contacting them via website chat, app chat, even Twitter to escalate this issue. ![]() I tried getting different ISP but spectrum is the only option in this cursed apartment. I've been using spectrum for years and this problem started like a month ago. But I'm talking several times a week, sometimes for days in a row and it's been a month. Who wouldn't understand some connection issue from time to time, right? It could happen to everyone. I'm a remote home worker and my job heavily depends on internet connection. I'm not looking for tech support or partial refund. They send me outage alert text messages and also I can see the outage alert in My Spectrum app. I experiencing very frequent internet outages.
